Land was given in honor of Mr. Earle by Mr. Snow. The first meeting was held in a log cabin and later continued in a brush arbor. With the help of supporting persons, a church was built. It later burned. The church has burned three times, but each time it has been rebuilt. The church has had several pastors. They were: Reverend D.C. Gaston of Georgia, Reverend Jackson of Tennessee, Reverend J.C. Chandler- Reverend Harrison Oglesby, Reverend A.B. Morton Reverend Sullivan, Reverend Steward, Reverend Gideon, Reverend Robinson, Reverend Bryan, Reverend Galloway and Reverend J.C. McDowell. Now pastoring is the Reverend A.B.
